Information site produced by neighbours of the Lymm hotel
The captions to the above plans are those attached by the developers
UPDATE 05/12/2108
The elected members of the Planning committee will make a site visit on the morning of 7/12/2018.
The application will then be heard and decided upon on Thursday 12/12/18 at 6.30pm at the Town Hall. The public are free to attend. We would encourage you to do so. The officers have recommended approval. You can read the full report here. It is 43 pages.

If the application is refused the applicant can appeal. If the application is passed the objectors have no recourse to appeal.
As well as the approve /reject the members can also ask the officers to add conditions to the approved application e.g. noise control, possibly some parking specifics etc but this would not be anything that materially alters the essence of the application.
Be aware the the previous application which was refused by the officers ( and therefore did not need to go to committee) is now being appealed by the developers which would result in a public enquiry. If this second application is passed next week they may or may not still pursue that appeal.

ABOUT THIS SITE
This site has been put up by a neighbour to provide the wider neighbourhood and other interested parties with easy access information to the plans for the proposed redevelopment on the site of the Lymm Hotel. We have provided easy access to downloadable key sections of the plans.

The full application can only be viewed on Warrington Borough Council website
You will need to be on M'soft Internet Explorer. The 50 documents do not have meaningful names so it is a real struggle.
You can also visit the council offices in person
at 26-30 Horsemarket St. though it is not clear whether you can actually see the plans or just have access to a computer to view them.

Following a specific request from our group to the developer they have agreed to place a set of plans at the hotel.. ( something that surely have been done as a minimum as a matter of course)
Use the other pages of this website to access key parts of the plan.
Every attempt has been made to represent the application accurately and give a balanced view. Any inaccuracies are wholly the responsibility of the publisher of the site. We will be happy to acknowledge and correct any errors of fact.
Take a look at other pages on this site - see menu above - to get an understanding of the application and some of the issues
If you have any questions, suggestions that you would like to discuss with a neighbour please get in touch via the contact us page

Below is a link to the developers' main statement about the application. But bear in mind the full application consists of dozens of documents and plans. that can only be accessed via theWarrington BC planning portal.

If you objected last time you should have received a letter stating that your objections or comments need to be in by August 21st. This was always unreasonable in the mddle of the school holidays. Our councillors made representations and this has now been extended to September 14th
