The Care Home

There is not a whole lot of difference here from the original application.

The care home stands roughly where the existing bedroom block that was built in the 70s now stands. That was two storeys. This is three. 

The building is four metres shorter on the left than in the original application , but the space freed up is freed up is replaced by a larger wing on the back of the retirement apartments so doesn't generate any additional space between this building and the retirement apartments. 

The number of beds is reduced from 72 to 66.

There were complaints to the last application that the buildings were too close to the end of Statham Close.. They still seem to be just as close.
